walked passed yesterday and saw a waiter tryin to get the crowd to get in,, think the place looked kinda dead n borin

Went to that new bar Locker Room on Sat with friends. It wasn't crowded. We sat at a table and waited for 20min yet none of the bar staff took our order. I waved my arms about every time a waiter was within sight but was ignored. My friend finally managed to get the attention of a waiter who was walking past but was told to "wait, wait". The waiter never came back. However, other groups of people who arrived after us got instant attention and service from the waiters (or should I say "waitresses"). Perhaps it was due to the fact that the other groups of people who arrived after us had at least one Caucasian in their midst whereas our group was all Asian. We decided to leave since we were unable to get a drink and went to Tantric instead. Interestingly, Tantric was way more crowded than Locker Room, yet the service was prompt. Perhaps Locker Room should change their name to Colonial Hangover Room instead.

What's the deal with Superstar Sundays? http://www.superstar.sg/ I hadn't heard of this before. Is it every Sunday? What's it like?

I wonder if a new gay bar, sauna or cafe built somewhere in Sembawang will attract people living in the Northern area away from the usual crowded central area. Or is it going to damage the peace and receive complaints from the citizens, or maybe people still prefer the usual familiar places. Hmm
