For Tailors... There are a lot of indian tailors on sukhumvit soi 11 around the Ambasador Hotel which will do almost anything in 24 hours. I suggest you have 1 shirt done first and if its good you can always order more.
A friend from New Zealand ordered a lot of shirts and was very happy with the price and the fit.

ivanguy, i suggest you check the prices here first before you get your shirts made in bkk. with great recommendations sexton gave like jim thomson and the one at thaniya plaza, it might not be cheaper in bkk. these are top of the line tailors so they charge top of the line $$ as well.

ivanguy, i fully agree with bigred.... those tailor in bkk who can do 24 hours or even 48hours normally is quite expensive.... of course if you compare apple to apple to singapore they are still cheaper....

but not necessary cheaper than "normal" tailor here....

i suggest u go to peninsula plaza (the one before funan). they are quite number of tailor with quite "resonable" price.... i did make my suite there in shop call personality. the owner eric, is very nice... he will entertaint u... i asked so many questions and he replied lor....

the price was then $600 for semi wool suite.... i think this guys is very decent and i feel he is very honest (not trying to cheat lor)....

alternatively u can go neighbourhood lor.... u can make pants 3 for $80-150 depending of materials lor.... but this is polyster, which to me good enough for daily use....

there are many... i know 1 in marine parade, 2 in tampines, and i know there is 1 in giant bedok and also gaint marine parade.... it takes around 2 weeks...

i made 1 set in marine parade and tampines... i should say the tailor quality is quite good....

from my thai friend he recommond his usual tailor somewhere in mbk but it will take 1 week..... not sure u will be that long in bkk..... if u are i can try to get the shop name from him
