Speaking about TSL, I am not sure if anyone do feel the same way as me. I somehow find that in a way or another, TSL resembles the late Singapore hero in WW2 - Patriot Lim Bo Seng. If you did watch MediaCorp Channel 8 history drama - "The Price of Peace". Because he also wears specs..and dons the white shirt...it suddenly dawn on me that from certain angles.. he looks somehow like the late hero. Like Lim..TSL loves his country..he steps into politics..becomes an MP..and now focus on spearheading efforts in helping Singapore win the Youth Olympics Games 2010 bid. Call me too imaginative or what..haha..maybe TSL is the reincarnation of Lim Bo Seng?? Hahaha... Apologies if you find this crappy. Hehe. For the benefit of those who have no idea who Lim Bo Seng is.... Lim Bo Seng is a national hero in Singapore for his resistance to Japanese forces during World War II. A native Chinese who moved to Singapore as a child, Lim led efforts to raise funds to help China fight Japanese invasion in the late 1930s. When the Japanese captured Singapore, Lim escaped to India and joined Force 136, a group of resistance fighters organized by the British. He was captured after infiltrating Japanese territory in 1944; despite punishment and torture, he refused to reveal the names of other resistance fighters. He died in captivity in prison in Perak (Malaysia), becoming a martyr to the cause of Singapore.
