Actually, you are quite right but those scenes you mentioned were more on family ones. The ones I referred to were more on the school grounds (for being ridiculous).

However, I find the first few episodes were quite funny and I was actually looking forward to similar jokes to lighten the atmosphere of the later episodes when things got serious. Jokes which I enjoys are like for example: "dazed-Chunli-with-doll-at-the-dinner-table" scene, "Lele-welcoming-Chunli-home-after-secretly-becoming-tenant" scene and a few scenes which Lele conspires playfully with Chunli's mother" from one of the first few episodes.

I thought they should also include the EPMS - a "powerful tool" that could "kill" most teachers. Heehee...

Very rare to find a teacher like Chunli and Lele who went beyond their job as teacher for students in today's schools. Most teachers in real life are like Miss Deng doing only activities that score KPIs, playing it safe and just doing what she was paid.
.....
You are almost right, most teachers don't even have time to go out and have fun. In the show, there were like less than 20 teachers in a staff meeting (so few in a secondary school meh), that was too few and it didn't show how busy a teacher should be after school - marking, non-curriculum meetingSSS, CCA duties, meeting parents of problematic kids? Really can't find teachers who are so free (like Chunli & Lele)...

The "special assignment" seemed unrealistic. Such things happen in real life school?
.....
Didn't hear of such assignment in real life, if there is such a thing, I think most Principals would be "dismissed", haha...

just one part i dun get it : They said it is a must for the competition to have 5 people... how come the 2nd place can be a 3 pax team??!
.....
Every show probably has its flaws, I did notice about this flaw in a few of the scenes like you did...

other than that, i think this is one of the rare local drama series produced. Mediacorp should consider producing shorter/less episodes drama like this.

Shocking to see twist in Meixin's character from villainness to ally. It's too sudden.
The "special assignment" seemed unrealistic. Such things happen in real life school?
No ending, conclusion or lesson learnt for the disciplinary master Mr Chen?
No more on the students from other school who blackmailed Meixin?

I seriously wonder what is the "special assignment" between Lele and principal.
Overall I think this is one of the rare great dramas with great storyline (despite alot of people disliking the show due to their personal dislike for Ou Xuan). Very seldom has a drama got me so engaged given that I seldom watch TV. Other examples are Golden Path and Dai Yangtian's ping pong drama in 2009.

Very rare to find a teacher like Chunli and Lele who went beyond their job as teacher for students in today's schools. Most teachers in real life are like Miss Deng doing only activities that score KPIs, playing it safe and just doing what she was paid.
Chunli's mother is so cute and comical in the initial episodes (and I thought her role is just a minor one to add comical relief) but revealed an emotional side of her when she tries to hide her discovery of Chunli’s suspension from school (while suppressing her sadness) and Chunli’s scandal in school due to her mother’s involvement being a mistress.
The principal is so hilariously obsessed with KPIs that he is so easily manipulated by Lele whenever he simply just linked "KPI" to any suggestions he brought up to the principal. I'm still intrigued about the "special assignment" which Speed have with principal. The disciplinary master Mr Chen is such a bootlicker to the principal and being such a wet blanket to Chunli.
I only hated 1 character – Meixin – and I wished some form of retribution or lesson would happen to her since the beginning episodes of Chunli, Lele and Guolun falling for her pranks and Guolun being forced to resign from the school as a result. I finally got my satisfaction in last night’s episode when she caused another student a head injury due to one of her pranks and the student wanted to call police.

it is a harsh reality MOE based these on every schools, which in turn all its teachers and students... making "teaching" so difficult for the teachers! many passionate teachers left because they were worn out not because of teaching but because of all these critiria to meet!
