couldn't shake robin scherbatsky outta my head, half expecting her to crack a joke midway...
I'd say the hulk looks better compared with the previous incarnations and the smack down/banter with thor was awesome! widow's moves are wicked. cap's costume blue a tad off tho', and coulda picked a cuter guy for hawkeye...
lookout for thanos in the after movie scene... hope they touch on the infinity gauntlet in 2...

I agree! Was expecting more because everyone around me was like commenting how good the movie is. But the movie is not that bad la.
it was good no doubt, and the actors are great too... i loved captain america with his old world charm... for a great battle, esp one that can end the world, there wasn't much touching scenes in the midst of all the big fightings...i kept seeing the big metal fish-like things swimming around in the sky crashing buildings' corner... what a waste for a great war weapon/machine! surprising not much scene showing causalties... these littles scenes will make the different between a good director and a GREAT director!

The show is worth every penny of the ticket price, able to watch two great guys - Chris Hemsworth and Chris Evans!
...
Indeed two cute hunky guys in the show. But there should a sequel for this movie.
The weather can be quite hot and humid so i might as well let my sweat go with a free flow!

Highly entertaining movie.
Altho` several scenes were copied from other movies.
Jeremy Renner's Hawkeye reverse shooting falling off the building is reminiscent of his recent movie Mission Impossible: Ghost Protocol, when Tom Cruise did that too........or the movie Matrix when Trinity played by Carrie-Anne Moss did that stunt crashing thru the windows of the building.
When the Leviathan aliens ships flew out of the portal in the sky ...it is quite similar to the recent Transformer 3 Dark of the Moon when Cybertron phasing into Earth’s atmosphere under the tech-support of Sentinel Primes space-time bridge.
And of cos, Ironman falling off the sky unconscious after delivering the nuclear missiles thru the portal in the sky is so...Brandon Routh`s Superman2!
Still Avengers has great FX and pure superheroes` action!
Mark Ruffalo Hulk is 100 times better (and funnier) than Ang Lee`s cartoon-y green man.
Pity Chris Evans` Capt America did not even have a shirtless scene....
