With 6,323 views at STOMP and 10,499 views at Trevvy excluding other forums, quite a number of people are aware about the incident and hope that this can help them to make a wiser decision when joining a gym. This incident also reflect that discrimination against gay still exist despite years of effort.

You have every right to know what are the disciplinary actions taken against these people and you should pursue the matter taking a more proactive approach.

I told the California Fitness staff that I want to see the manager on the day of the incident. Will a coward do the same thing too?

Before I left on the day of incident, I saw the manager at the counter and approach him and told him that Mr K scolded me "fu*cking gay". Will a coward has the courage to approach the manager and tell the manager that he was labelled as a gay?

I feedback to California Fitness twice through email about the incident and get two replies from them including an apology. Will a coward write feedback about the incident to Californai Fitness too?

I have shared at 2 forums about the incident that I have experienced so that others are aware about the quality of the California Fitness service and staff. Will a coward spent time and energy to share his experience with others too?

You mentioned in your post that "If I were u I would hve called the police at the very moment ..... At least I hve a police report against them". So if I didn't make a police report, does that make me a coward because that is the action that you feel that I should have taken?

After doing so much, have you got an apology from Mr. K? I know your ego is hurt but i think it's about time for closure. Let go and move on. Mr K might have forgotten about it and you should not let this incident haunt you and made you unhappy.

See the manager, well thats a first step, but comeon la, tons of pple do cowardice stuff by email everyday, to hide behind anonymity. Writing a feedback and sharing it on forum is "brave?"

You can always go lodge a police report again. The fact is you didnt get a satisfactory reply, whine about it to everyone, and decided to discontinue action made u look like full of hot air and nothing else.

Who are the Victims?
Why do some people become victims and others do not? The victim is often singled out because of his/her psychological traits more than his/her physical traits. They are likely to be shy, sensitive, anxious, insecure, have low self-esteem and lack social skills. Physical traits that tend to be picked on are being overweight, physically small, having a disability, or belonging to another race.

I think, rainy, that you are now playing the moralist because you must be

really ashamed by the way you handled this alleged episode with CF.

If all happened like you said, then you need to do some introspection and find out why you failed to take any effective action in spite of a lot of support and good advice.

Maybe bigbulge has given you a clue in his list "They are likely to be shy, sensitive, anxious, insecure, have low self-esteem and lack social skills."

All this is curable, if you recognize the problems and take some action.

Reasons Why People Bully

Many people bully in order to attract attention from others. They always want to be in the limelight, and make a good impression on other individuals. Such behavior may even lead to a big fight if the person who is getting bullied is one who normally is the center of attraction. It is certainly not a good thing, particularly if the bullying is taking place in a corporate environment.

Such behavior may even lead to a big fight if the person who is getting bullied is one who normally is the center of attraction. It is certainly not a good thing, particularly if the bullying is taking place in a corporate environment.

A person also bullies others because he may think that he is much superior to them. He may consider superiority in terms of intelligence, social status, financial status, and some similar factors. In such a case, bullying can be done by being rude and even beating up others. Usually, people who bully are individuals from well-to-do families.

Some people bully others because they desperately want something they cannot achieve or obtain, something which other individuals have, such as study notes or electronic gadgets. A person may also bully to become more popular in his locality. Such bullies generally form groups and fight clubs and create nuisance in public. A bully might even try to prove to his friends that he is the boss and has authority over other individuals.

A majority of people bully due to their mental state. They either have some problem in their way of thinking or mindset, or have some social insecurity. They like to be rude and rebellious towards others. Jealousy is also one of the major reasons why people bully. They try to punish and hurt others whom they are jealous about for various or even a single reason.

Bullying is a behavioral issue that needs to be dealt with seriously. Continuous exposure to bullying can have extreme effects on a person's physical as well as mental health, and may even lead to suicide. I hope after reading the above article you might have got an idea of why do people bully.

Lol at the douchiness of the staff there. Did you ever schedule a meeting with the guy they offered to have meet up with you? It would seem as if CF is protecting their own staff by refusing to disclose what punishment the trainers got. For me, using one's perceived sexual preference as a tool of attack and to shame is a very huge deal. The trainer involved would have been fired on the spot in many other places.

Big Greg, what are you gonna do? Why are you threatening to turn this into a physical confrontation? Let me share with you something about people with muscles and nothing else... they are always always at a disadvantage in any arena. You see, beating someone up is against the law and will get you in huge trouble. Instigating a fight when the other party isn't provoking a physical confrontation falls under this category. At best, what you can hope for is a moment's suffering for the OP and a few weeks of soreness if you beat him in a fight. You, on the other hand, will get jail, and a record, and perhaps even more discrimination from society for being an ex-con than you heap onto gay people. Why would you think that is a beneficial tradeoff? Since you aren't actually Mr. K, I conclude that you aren't very bright for risking getting into trouble with the law over something that isn't even about you.

Few of the Filipino trainers at Orchard Cali are cute looking!! What do you think?

CF employed them becos they are cute or becos they are cheap? Maybe cute and cheap. Anyway, filipinos are usually gay-friendly and won't mind mixing around with gay people.
