what i like about this movie is, it is very different from others where death of one party is inevitable.

The shorter chap reminds me a tad of a younger and slimmer Elvin Ng.

I got a copy of SOLO, Pleasure Factory and Bugis Street.

Pleasure Factory and Bugis street is really nice.. shows the explicit scenes:).. yet there is proper storyline.. Bugis street is really worth watching. Shows the life of transvestises..

Gt it from this singaporean guy at S$20 per movie +3bucks registered postage! Its worth compared ordering from amazon! hehe ~

Lan Yu as in that Stanley Kwan flick. Wasnt too bad IMHO. The storyline was tepid but the cinematography was rather nice.

What I meant by really really bad gay flicks are those like Eating Out or even gay shows like The Lair and Dante's Cove.

Not movie.....but korean drama serial....shown in S.korea starting march 2010. The gay part is not the main story (which is more about family ties)...but enough to become a major following plot for many gays over there. Since showing on tv, probably won't have bed scene...but the focus on the gay theme (the depth going into the char's feelings etc) is considered rare enough for korean TV serials.

The 2 chars are not youngsters....one is a doctor, the other a photographer (who is really hunky from some scenes). I'm not sure about how their story goes. Will google more if got time.

It's hard to find a good movie with a homosexual theme. Most are very mediocre and are basically badly acted shite, eg, movies like Eating Out, etc. Asian ones tend to bank on young smooth skinned doe eyed boys. Ick.

Let's see, gay movies I enjoy are: Bad Education, Velvet Goldmine, Farewell My Concubine and Hedwig and the Angry Inch.

The making of the film...got nude scenes...i hope the dreamy sequences (eg angel) won't make the film too hard to understand :
