Hot bod - 10 June 2012

Jonathan Ma, 23 (photo)
Naval officer

Height: 1.8m

Weight: 65kg

Exercise regimen: I train twice a day, which includes swimming, cycling, running and gym work. Usually, I'll train in the morning before going to work and another session after. I'm currently preparing for the World University Triathlon at the end of the month.

Diet: I eat mostly whole, unprocessed food, and believe in eating everything in moderation, so nothing is really off limits except for fried food. Chocolate and ice cream are my indulgences. I also like to eat a lot of fruit throughout the day.

this one is not bad! can fuck!

Personally, I think his bod is pretty ok. Furthermore, to the best of my memory, they have featured before bods which are worse, and yet there wasn't as much criticism?

oh dear the editor has clearly run out of guys to feature... they should close the column instead of keeping it and run a substandard feature! or change the column's name. it is clearly not a hotbod by any standard!

KarlG, I thought so too, but he did "elaborated" otherwise (I didn't include the whole article, as it was too long):

"... I have a girlfriend - my better half - who works as an orthodontist."

:(

Mind Your Body - 31 May 2012

BIOBOX
Dr Aaron Pang, 31 (photo)

Height: 1.81m

Weight: 80kg

Dr Pang is the director of the Sainte Chapelle Clinic, which specialises in cosmetic treatment.

He is also a member of the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh and has diplomas in dermatology and aesthetic medicine from Cardiff University in Britain and the American Academy of Aesthetic Medicine respectively.

His parents, who are both retired, help to look after his two nephews. The boys' father - Dr Pang's elder brother and only sibling - is a consultant pathologist at the National University Hospital who specialises in cancer research.

Dr Pang is a bachelor but has a "better half".

What do you do to keep fit?
I work out three times a week at the Seletar Country Club. Each session includes weightlifting or jogging, and swimming.

My gym routine comprises bench presses, abdominal crunches, pull-ups and bicep curls.

If I don't do weights, I will jog 2.4km, the standard distance for the individual physical proficiency test for national servicemen. This is always followed by a swim. I do 20 laps each time. On other days, I just jog 2.4km around my estate.

I just picked up my golfing proficiency certificate so I also try to practise my swing at least once a week.

Pardon me, a little late today...

Hot bod - 27 May 2012

Muhammad Fareed Hashim, 21 (photo)
Student

Height: 1.68m

Weight: 64kg

Exercise regimen: I start off early with an hour of canoeing at MacRitchie Reservoir at least four times a week. I hit the gym twice a week for strength training. As for cardio workouts, I run for about 30 to 45 minutes once a week. I usually cover 6-8km. I believe in going beyond my limits.

Diet: Usually I eat whatever I want, whenever I want. Closer to the competition season, I will follow a more detailed diet. For breakfast I take lots of carbohydrates for sustenance through the day. I consume more protein and less carbohydrate for lunch and dinner. I take fruits and have no sugar in my drinks.
Happy is what we should be always.
